The broth is enriched with the distinctive flavour of “charred spring onion” – a signature element of Kagoshima ramen – which adds a smoky, savoury finish.
The noodles are made using a special non-fried, non-steamed method, creating a texture that is firm, slightly thick, and reminiscent of freshly made ramen. This approach ensures that the noodles absorb the flavourful broth perfectly, providing a satisfying and authentic eating experience. Marutai Kagoshima Pork Ramen offers a taste of Kagoshima’s culinary tradition, delivering a comforting bowl of ramen that can be enjoyed any time of the day.
Instructions:
Bring 500ml of water to a boil (or 1L if you're making both servings). Place the ramen in the boiling pot and cook for three minutes. Turn off the heat and place both sachets into the pot, stirring well. Serve immediately.
